I'll probably work until midnight or near enough though. I love to work. Soon, I will be able to work more when I have the internet in Stratford. I still want to see my friends and go to Escape, Age Concern etc, but I want to work too.

It has been a gloriously sunny day. I've been to the Post Office and had a god chat with Ron and Di in the post office. Ron told me that the Blacksmiths Arms has closed down. That leaves us with one other pub in the village, but it doesn't bother me. I never really use the pub. If I ever want a drink it will be at home.

I've been to collect my winnings on the National Lottery.

I'm going to have to call Ellaine and organise an appointment for her to cut my hair.

While I am in Howden, I will buy some joss sticks and some nice scented candles. The candles smell like coffee, chocolate and blackcurrant. They are really nice.

I will also go and visit Anne (my dad's cousin). She lives in a really big old house next to the Minster and her house is supposed to be quite heavily haunted. Anne believes it is anyway.

The weather is nice today and everything is going well.

Great news! The only bad news today was England's dismal performance in Tel Aviv. They only managed a 0-0 draw.

Ruth (my sister) returned today from Switzerland. She has brought a friend with her. His name is Matthius. He's a German and he got on well with all of the family. Alistair (my brother) really made an effort to talk to Matthius in German. I think he was most impressed.

I started a new book today. It's by an author called Katherine Kerr. It's historical, but it's also fantasy. It's a cracking read so far. I was reading a Stephen King book, but his books are always very dark and I'm not really in the right frame of mind for something like that.

I had it in my mind to write some serious stuff about my illness, but now though, I'm not going to bother. I'm tired and I could do with some sleep - so good night!

I went to the library to return some books. I went to get some milk for breakfast tomorrow. I came back and before too long the weather became overcast.
When I go to Heaven, my dreams will come true and it will be amazing, so I've decided not to worry too much about making money here on earth. As long as I've got my faith - I'm a rich man. I have Jesus in my life and that is more precious than any amount of money so I'm wealthy. I have much to thank God for and so has everyone if they really analyse their lives and really took a look at all the good things, there isn't really anyone who has nothing to be thankful for.
In my dreams, I have a house on the side of a lake with a balcony between my house and the side of the lake where I could sit and look out with a nice drink in my hands. Could you imagine that in the autumn with a nip in the air? I have Jesus to thank for this dream too.

I think the weather today has been a contributing factor, but I have been under a lot of pressure too. 'David, we need you to come to see us in Coventry' someone said. There was no compromise. They wouldn't take it into account that in order to get to Binley Business Park it would be a six hour journey there and back...and once I got there, they probably wouldn't tell me anything I don't already know. I did ask to meet these people in Coventry city centre, but oh no, it has to be in Binley. I'm feeling emotional at the moment anyway, with it being so close to going back to Yorkshire to see my family who I haven't seen since Christmas. My brother is here now too and I feel some responsibility to be taking care of him. He'll be living here in Stratford soon enough and then I will see him much more often.

I am involved with a few ventures and occasionally I will have an insane idea of how I am going to bring all this together and make an absolute fortune. I now realise that money isn't the be and end all. I have realised that friendship is just as valuable and that's what I have been building up over the past couple of years since my earlier journeys into the world of internet marketing.
Now I have just decided to use this blog as a 'getting to know me' site. If indeed you think I am important or even interesting, then keep looking here and you'll find updates to my news and views each week. Personally, I think it would be interesting for me to give you an insight into my life.
My name is David. I am a 31 year old man living in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire. I have lived here since August 2006. Before this time, I was living with my parents in Hook, east Yorkshire. My parents still live there, although they are moving back to Leamington Spa, Warwickshire before too long (God willing).
I am a Schizophrenic and this is my calling. I can praise God for my illness because it makes me compassionate and understanding of others with the same kind of problem. The fact that I'm a Schizophrenic doesn't make me a psychotic killer or an axe-wielding maniac. The symptoms of my illness include hearing voices (they always persecute me - never tell me to do things), wacky ideas, depression and slight aggression. I am not aggressive towards others. I was once worked up last autumn (2006) so I just walked away and cooled off.
